My husband, Brian and I (Kim) have been married for 22 years. We have two boys, Taylor (19) and Thomas (17), two cats, Oliver and Ellie Mae, and one dog - a catahoula leapard name Zaida. We began this blog in 2006 while we were getting ready to build our house. *Click here to go back to the beginning. It was a dream that we had and never thought that it would come to be. The land that we now own and that we built our house upon has been in my family for a very long time! When it belonged to my grandparents, I remember walking up the hill with them to fish in the pond that is now what is considered to be in our back yard. This was a hill that everyone in the family seemed to want at one time or another, and how we actually ended up with it is a long and interesting story. We are thankful for the many blessings that led us here to a place of beauty, peace, and hopefully many happy memories to come.
