FINALLY, 3 poles (not in yet) and a Duck River Electric Truck have arrived on the property! (It has taken 4 months of haggling with neighbors, family, and power company to get to this point!)

Our new baby - Zaida

This is our new baby that we adopted last week from Williamson County Animal Control.
She is a Catahoula Leopard dog and is 6 months old. Her name is Zaida, which means "lucky one". She is very playful, but yet is still calm. Such a sweet face! Tonight is the first night she has stayed out in the back yard. I could not get her to go in her dog house, but hopefully she will. She and Oliver (the outside cat) really seem to like each others company.
